Christine works as a Business Client Manager in our Commercial Property & Casualty department and has been instrumental in making sure that our commercial clients have the coverage they need when they need it. Here is a quick Q & A with Christine!
What is your role at NAP?
I am a Business Client Manager and I am responsible for the daily servicing of a portion of our commercial book of business. I am responsible for the processing and re-marketing of renewals, placing new lines of business for existing clients, endorsements, billing issues, and answering any questions our clients may have about their insurance.
What would people never guess you do in your role?
In order to help our customers receive the best service and coverages, I strive to stay current with the industry trends and pertinent changes.
What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?
I enjoy helping clients understand their coverages. This knowledge provides them with the comfort of knowing that they can spend their time running their business and not worrying about not being fully insured if a loss should occur.
Before working here, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
Before working here, I worked at Firemans’ Fund Insurance Company supervising a department of five. The department had the opportunity to develop a new Workers’ Compensation program for one of their top agencies. Our group’s focus was to create an effective workflow and efficient process.
What kinds of hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?
I love camping and biking with my family.
What is one thing you couldn’t live without?
My family and special friends.
What is your hidden talent or an interesting fact about you?
I love to water ski. I grew up spending lots of time at my parents’ lake house in Maine, so I had lots of time to learn.
What is your favorite movie and/or book? Why?
I love a good suspense. My favorite movie is Primal Fear and my favorite author is Kendra Elliot.
