Keri recently joined the NAP team to oversee financial operations. Here is a quick Q & A with Keri!
What is your role at NAP?
I’m the Director of Accounting. I’m responsible for all financial aspects of the company, including the operations and trust sides of the company.
What would people never guess you do in your role?
I do exactly what you’d expect an accountant to do. No surprises here!
What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?
Making sure all of the accounts are reconciled and in balance. I need my debits to equal my credits! I also like interacting with all of the account managers on a daily basis.
Before working here, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
I wrote restaurant reviews for management teams at NYC restaurants. It was an undercover gig! I would get paid to go fancy (and expensive) restaurants, sample tons of food, and report back to the owners on the quality and service. It made for a really fun date night!
What kinds of hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?
I love to play tennis, walk, and take cross-training classes. I enjoy playing mahjong, reading, and spending time with my family and friends. I also love spending time in NYC – shopping, Broadway shows, and trying new restaurants especially.
What is one thing you couldn’t live without?
My family. (And M&M’s.)
What is your hidden talent or an interesting fact about you?
If I had any real talent, I would definitely show it off! I would say that I’m an excellent multi-tasker!
What is your favorite movie and book? Why?
I fall for all rom-coms, but Pretty Woman is my favorite! It’s a fairy tale come true. “Everybody’s got a dream!”
What is your motto, personal mantra, or favorite quote?
“Love all, trust a few, do wrong to none.” ~ William Shakespeare
When are you happiest?
I’m happiest being with my family.
