Laurel works as a Private Client Manager in our Private Client – Property & Casualty department and has been instrumental in making sure that our clients have an insurance program that addresses their individual needs. Here is a quick Q & A with Laurel!
What is your role at NAP?
I am an account manager for the personal lines insurance program. I service and sell personal lines insurance, including homeowner’s insurance, automobile insurance, valuables insurance, and flood insurance.
What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?
Some of my more complex accounts offer great challenges. It’s like putting pieces of a puzzle together. I really enjoy the challenge of making various pieces of insurance fit together into one plan.
Before working here, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
I was a cocktail waitress at a nightclub during the disco days.
What kinds of hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?
I like going to yoga and I really don’t mind cutting the grass, but don’t tell my husband!
What is one thing you couldn’t live without?
My dogs and wine.
What is your hidden talent or an interesting fact about you?
I can probably relate any experience to a song. In insurance, the song is usually “Yesterday” by The Beatles.
What is your favorite movie and/or book? Why?
My favorite movie is Terms of Endearment because it showed a mother/daughter relationship in a funny and moving way. I also like Ratatouille.
What is your motto, personal mantra or favorite quote?
Everyday while driving to work I thank God for the day and ask Him to help me do the best I can this day and live it to His design.

At the beach!
