What is your role at NAP?
I am an Account Manager; I pride myself on not only being an insurance agent but being someone my clients can trust.
What would people never guess you do in your role?
I consider all my clients my friends and treat them as such.
What aspect of your role do you enjoy the most?
I enjoy finding the coverage that fits my clients best and doing the research to make sure they are covered correctly.
Before working here, what was the most unusual or interesting job you’ve ever had?
I started my working career in the restaurant industry as a cook.
What kinds of hobbies and interests do you have outside of work?
I enjoy whatever my kids want, someday I will have my own interests again.
What is one thing you couldn’t live without?
Coffee.
What is your hidden talent or an interesting fact about you?
I love doing things for my community and sit on a couple of boards planning events.
What is your favorite movie and/or book? Why?
My favorite movie is Jim Henson, The Labyrinth. I love the music and storyline.
My favorite book is The Seven Husbands of Evelyn Hugo, and all I will say is, you should read it.
What is your motto, personal mantra, or favorite quote?
Avoid Strangers by Introducing yourself. I saw this on a magazine page as a teenager ripped it out and hung it up. I have lived by it ever since. There is no reason you can’t complement or speak to strangers, you never know who may need your small branch of kindness.
When are you happiest?
I am the happiest in the middle of winter, stuck at home with my family, with snow falling outside.
